Kevin Rourke is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate. He earned his Master’s Degree in School Counseling from Central Connecticut State University and completed his post-graduate certification as a Licensed Professional Counselor at the University of Connecticut.
Kevin has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in both community health and educational settings. He previously served as a school counselor, supporting students and families through academic, social, and emotional challenges. He continues to be a strong advocate for young people, helping them build resilience and pursue personal growth. Kevin’s approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and client-centered. He believes that every person brings a unique story and set of strengths to the counseling process. He integrates evidence-based and trauma-informed practices, tailoring treatment to meet each client’s needs. He is especially passionate about working with individuals navigating life transitions, managing anxiety or depression, or healing from past trauma. Outside of counseling, Kevin enjoys surfing and traveling, finding balance and inspiration in the ocean and in exploring new cultures. |
