Braedon Robinson (he.him), LCSW
|
Braedon is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. He earned his master's degree in Social Work from the University of Connecticut. With over three years supporting adolescents, young adults, and families through some of life's most challenging moments.
Working primarily in Intensive Outpatient Programs, Braedon has supported clients struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, self-harm, suicidal ideation, and relationship difficulties. He's facilitated therapy groups for middle schoolers, high schoolers, and young adults, and has found meaningful ways to connect with clients who may be hesitant about therapy. Whether working with a resistant teenager or a worried parent, Braedon brings empathy, patience, and a calm steadiness that helps people feel genuinely heard and understood. He works to help families navigate painful challenges without blame, and strives to make skills-based therapeutic work feel relevant and engaging rather than clinical or abstract. Braedon believes that effective therapy happens in relationship—that real change comes when clients feel safe enough to be honest, challenged enough to grow, and supported every step of the way. He primarily uses Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), focusing on practical skills clients can use immediately in their daily lives. He's passionate about helping clients develop emotion regulation, increase self-awareness, build healthier relationships, and approach themselves with greater compassion. His approach is collaborative and nonjudgmental, often incorporating humor and authenticity to create a therapeutic space that feels less like "treatment" and more like genuine partnership. He is committed to providing affirming, inclusive care for all clients. |
