I am a Licensed Professional Counselor located in Durham, CT. I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling from Central Connecticut State University and have over 10 years of counseling experience in both public and private settings.
My goal as a counselor is always to provide a safe, supportive, and open-minded environment. I see my role as a counselor as someone who meets my clients where they are and helps guide them to where they want to be through empathy and unconditional positive regard. Every person I work with is unique in their needs and my theoretical orientation is an integrated approach that includes a humanistic person-centered foundation.
My counseling experience has centered around working in large urban cities with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds. I welcome folks from all walks of life, backgrounds, orientations, identities, and religions. I consider myself an open-minded, ethical, and compassionate counselor.
I live in central Connecticut with my husband and two children. I love learning, being creative and cats.
